What an order plan is
An order plan is a short list of candidates, each recorded as a five-field note, with anything still unconfirmed marked clearly. It is a plan, not an order and not live data.
Keep it limited
A plan you cannot finish reviewing is just a longer list. Keep the number of candidates small enough that every note can be re-checked.
Mark open items
Anything still to confirm — price, option, availability, rules — goes in the check field of the note. If it is open, it is visible. Nothing is left implied.
Margin noteA hidden ambiguity becomes a surprise later. Mark it now.
Building the plan
- Take the shortlist from your first pass.
- Write a five-field note for each candidate.
- Mark every open item in the check field.
- Re-check each source page before submitting.

- Candidate 1: a bag — variant recorded, price to confirm.
- Candidate 2: a jacket — size recorded, availability to confirm.
