Check before you send

A crop only hides part of the frame. Before you share anything, read the whole frame — not just the part you meant to show.

The checklist

  1. Permissions. Check who can open the sheet copy or link.
  2. Hidden labels. Check row and column headers for names or addresses.
  3. Comments. Check cell comments for order or identity detail.
  4. History. Check edit history for earlier private entries.
  5. Personal info. Check the frame for emails, numbers, or names.

A worked check

  1. Frame: the crop shows a product link.
  2. Outside the crop: an open tab shows the account inbox.
  3. Action: close the tab before sharing the screenshot.
