Re-check before you rely

Opening the page is not the same as confirming it. The page you landed on may not match the row you opened. Ask four questions before you treat anything on it as settled.

Page identity

Is this the page the clue pointed to? Check the title, the domain, and the item it shows. If the title or image does not match the row, record both and do not quietly replace one with the other.

Options

Which option is actually selected? A listing shows many colors, sizes, and versions. Re-read the selector: the option the page shows now may not be the one you want, and a price is only meaningful against a specific option.

Price context

What does this price mean? A number is not proof. Ask which option it belongs to, which currency it uses, and whether it includes what you expect. A price with no option and no currency is a number, not a fact you can act on.

Missing detail

What is still absent? Material, sizing, shipping method, or version may not appear at all. Write each absence down instead of assuming a default.

A worked re-check

  1. Page identity: the title names the same bag, but the image looks different — recorded both.
  2. Options: the selector shows black selected; the row pointed to another color.
  3. Price context: the price is shown without a currency label.
  4. Missing detail: the material is not stated anywhere on the page.

When the page cannot answer

If a question cannot be answered from this page, mark it “not knowable here” and name the confirmation place. Do not convert the page’s silence into an answer.
