A row is a starting point

A row reference gives you local clues. It is not a completed check. Read it field by field, in order, so nothing is assumed before you cross to the destination.

1 — Visible label

Record what the row actually says on its face. The label is the starting clue, not a conclusion about the item.

2 — Selected option

Note the color, size, and version as written. These are the option you are being pointed to, not necessarily the one you need.

3 — Source context

Look at the headers, neighboring fields, and category around the row. Context gives the label its meaning.

4 — Details to re-check

List what still needs confirming. These are the fields you will verify on the destination page before relying on the row.
