An option only means something in context
A color, size, version, quantity, or set is not a free-floating fact. It only means something inside the page conditions it appears under — the same way a price only means something at a given time on a given page.
The option and the condition

- Condition patch — sage.
The time and page conditions under which the price, images, stock, and claims next to the option appear.
Text, image, and number stay attached
An option’s wording, its image, and any number beside it must stay attached to the page they came from. Detached from that condition, a fragment can be re-used in the wrong place and read as something it is not.
An image or a number without its condition is a floating fragment — keep it attached to the page it came from.
A worked reading
- Option: record the visible color, size, version, quantity, or set.
- Condition: record the page and the time the price, image, stock, or claim appeared.
- Keep both together: never carry the option without its condition into another comparison.
